GEORGIA TEAMS SHINE AT JO CUP

The growth of youth fast pitch softball in the state of Georgia was in full power this week as USA Softball held the prestigious JO Cup at Lost Mountain Park in Powder Springs.  The Atlanta Vipers-Moore team dominated the 16U division, going through the bracket undefeated in route to a championship.  Also delivering strong finishes were the East Cobb Bullets-Kittrell (4th place) and the East Cobb Bullets-Biele (7th).

In the 18U division the East Cobb Bullets-Schnute battled their way back through the loser’s bracket to capture their championship.  Again, Georgia was well represented at the top of the 18U leader board with the Atlanta Vipers-Vallery (3rd) and the Georgia Elite-Hoover (4th). Congratulations to these teams for representing Georgia at the highest level and to all the Georgia teams who qualified for USA/ASA national championship events.
