USA SOFTBALL OF GEORGIA LAUNCHES OLYMPIC SERIES EVENTS IN 2018

Softball is returning to the Olympics in 2020 and the excitement is growing across the country in USA Softball, the National Governing Body of Softball.   In 2018 USA SB of GA will be hosting a new and exciting concept in the J.O. program that will offer Georgia teams what they want in a weekend schedule; expanded game time minimums, 5-game round-robin format, college exposure opportunities, and USA Softball national berth opportunities for age groups 12U, 14U, 16U, & 18U.

The series will be comprised of five two-day play dates, with each team playing five games.  Each age group will have one USASB of GA national tournament berth available and $350.00 toward their USASB National Tournament entry fee.  The berth will be determined by a point system in which teams are awarded 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, and 1 additional point for each event entered.  To be eligible to earn the national berth teams must be registered on RegisterUSA.com and play in a minimum 3 of the 5 events. The following are the dates and sites.  For more information go to; usasoftballgeorgia.org or tournamentusa.com.
